The purpose of the Argyle United Presbyterian Church is to...

    *Bring pleasure to God through worship
    *Experience life together through fellowship
    *Grow spiritually to be more like Christ through discipleship
    *Serve the needs of others through ministry
    *Share the Good News through evangelism

Vision Statement

Over the next few years we will...

    *Emphasize congregational development in the areas of spiritual growth,
       spiritual gift development and training in sharing our faith.
    *Continue to use the Natural Church Development process to guide us in
       which areas of ministry need the greatest focus.
    *Pursue increasing our staff to help with the above areas of congregational
       development.
